Development of "Steam Aqua Jet": A Sheet-Cleaning Device Offering Easier Maintenance-Commercialization of Cleaning Device That Uses Only Vapor and Water to Degrease Sheets in a Contactless Manner-

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (President and Director: Satoru Katsuno, Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), and TANABE Corporation (CEO: Ikuo Tanabe, Head office: Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, herein after "Tanabe") jointly developed a cleaning device (product name: Steam Aqua Jet) for steel mill sheet production lines, which only uses vapor and water to degrease the surface of sheets in a contactless manner.

Tanabe will start taking orders for the developed product in November 2017 from plants that have sheet production lines.
