On the Construction Plan for the Atsumi Wind Power Station (tentative name)

Chubu Electric Power has decided to construct the Atsumi Wind Power Station on the Atsumi Thermal Power Station premises in Tahara-shi, Aichi Prefecture today.
The Atsumi Wind Power Station (tentative name) will be a wind power station with a maximum output of 7400 kW. Preparation work will begin in FY2019 before the start of full-scale construction in FY2020 and the start of commercial operations in FY2021.
We will go forward with developing this project with the cooperation and understanding of the local municipality, the local community and related parties.
Chubu Electric Power will continue to actively work on introducing energy sources with low CO2 emissions, including the development and introduction of renewable energies such as wind power and solar power generation in order to realize a low carbon society.
