On the Establishment of an Electricity and Gas Sales Agent for the Aichi/Mie/Gifu Area

Chubu Electric Power has decided to establish "Chuden Energy Services Incorporated (provisional name)" (hereinafter, "Chuden Energy Services") as a sales agent to contract out Chubu Electric Power's electricity and gas sales in the Aichi, Mie and Gifu areas.
Chubu Electric Power aims to swiftly deliver not only on "price", but various services that capture the needs of the customers in the increasingly competitive liberalized electricity and gas markets.
Chuden Energy Services will conduct sales activities to directly communicate Chubu Electric Power's services and the plans' benefits through the recruitment of personnel with a wealth of sales experience and establishment of service outlets that also sell and repair electric and gas equipment.
Chubu Electric Power will use Chuden Energy Services to increase opportunities to interact with a wide range of customers to better understand the customer's needs and strive to make the customers' lives more convenient and comfortable.
