Chubu Area Electric Power Demand Results for FY2018

While use of air conditioning facilities in the summer increased due to the higher temperatures and semiconductor production increased, it was more than offset by the reduction in air conditioning use due to the higher temperatures in the winter. Consequently, the power demand was 129.5 billion kWh, down by 0.1% compared to the previous year, falling below the previous year's numbers for the first time in three years.
